‘HERDY’S MISSION’:- Get ‘Dodge’s’ tail wagging forever!
‘Herdy’, The Rusty Crab’s Border Collie shop dog is making a huge request! Please can you help!? ‘Herdy’ has heard that ‘Dodge’ who is another Collie of a similar age, hasn’t had the best start in life, and is still going through a hard time with tests and diagnosis! ‘Dodge’ is currently being cared for by Eden Animal Rescue, Penrith. He is not well, and poor ‘Dodge’ needs special food and medicine as well as funding for more tests and medical care. In order to raise money for ‘Dodge’, ‘Herdy’ has created a ‘Rusty Crab Dog’ t-shirt and 50% of all profits from the sale of the t-shirt will go towards ‘Dodge’s’ medical care, food and contribute towards his future care; so he has much more chance of finding a loving home!
These premium heavyweight quality t-shirts are £29 each and come in four colours. They will carry ‘Herdy’s’ embroidered portrait on the left sleeve of the stone and green t-shirt, the white t-shirt will also have The Rusty Crab logo on the lower front and on the black tee there will be just The Rusty Crab logo on the sleeve.
They are currently being embroidered by Handmade By You and we’re hoping to have them available in The Rusty Crab, Maryport, Cumbria in sizes Small to 2XL by 3rd March 2026. We will have some more colours and sizes arriving in about four weeks. If you can’t make it to our shop, we will happily post one out for £2 delivery and all we require is the armpit to armpit measurement of the recipient’s current t-shirt, and we will send the correct size.
‘Dodge’ has a Gofundme page, which ‘Herdy’ would like to blast out of the water so ‘Dodge’ can be looked after for years to come! The Rusty Crab will be sending the money to this GoFundme page.
