When Cooper arrived with us, he had clearly had a difficult start. He came to us unneutered, underweight, with overgrown claws and in poor body condition. Since joining us, he has received veterinary care and is already making progress on his journey.

Cooper has now been castrated and has had X-rays after favouring one of his back legs. Sadly, these investigations showed that Cooper has hip dysplasia. He is currently receiving pain relief and is on a programme of gentle exercise while we work closely with our veterinary team to determine the most suitable long-term treatment plan to keep him comfortable and happy.

Despite everything, Cooper remains a lovely boy who deserves the chance to enjoy life without pain and continue building his strength and confidence.
